I am new to servlets, jsp, ejb. I want to learn MVC.
For that I am making a small project, where in I want to have a page which will take some numerical values from client, will save it in the database table. While retrieving I should be able to draw a simple bar chart based on values retrieved from the table.

I want to use model view controller approach. Can I use EJB also..

Could anyone help, what should be the approach ???

If you're trying to gain a better understanding of MVC, I'd start by building some small projects that don't do any database interaction.
Database transactions have nothing to do with MVC.
I'd also avoid EJB at first.
