Hi
i am new to JSP and JavaScript so please help

can anyone tell me how to fetch the value of a text box of a jsp page and pass the value of the text box as parameter for some SQL procedur on the same page .

Think about that for a minute. How can a value to be entered into a text box be obtained in code that executes before the page is even sent to the browser? (Also be aware that no Java code should ever be placed on a JSP page. Use a servlet for such processing.)
