I am using Tomcat. I have a temp folder under webapps. Inside temp/WEB-INF/classes I placed LDataBean.java, LBean.java, LDataBean.class and LBean.class files. This bean file is called from a l.jsp which is placed in temp folder. I tested LDataBean and LBean outside servlet container with a Test.java file and they worked fine. But when I am opening http://1.1.1.1:8080/temp/l.jsp, browser prints the error message LDataBean cannot be resolved to a type. I didn't make any entries in web.xml for this temp application.
Any idea what's causing the error?

I created a folder p1 and compiled so the class files are placed under p1. Then I created p1.jar and placed p1.jar under webapps\temp\WEB-INF\classes. I modified JSP code to p1.LDataBean and p1.LBean. I restarted Tomcat and tried to access the application from browser. I got the error message "The value for useBean class attribute p1.LDataBean is invalid".
