I have a jsp page (child.jsp) which is included by multiple jsp pages. Is there a simple way for the child.jsp to tell which jsp includes it at runtime?

Do a regularexpression based search using a text editor like TextPad or IDE you are using for the include directive.

Thanks for your reply. But I want to know if child.jsp is able to tell which jsp includes it at runtime.

Bad, bad, bad idea.

Use an explicit parameter to switch processing, not implicit info like "where did I come form"?

Thank you. That's what I thought. Just want to be sure.
