Hi all.
Jim Carrey made a clip with (other 2 guys ) about 3 loosers guys at Saturday night.
There is a song in this clip says (something like) :
What is love ? baby don't hurt me, don't hurt me, no more ..
Well, do you know the name of this song and who sings it ??

That clip is a parody for a movie called A Night at the Roxbury, starring Will Ferrell and Chris Kattan... terrible movie IMO.

Whenever anyone sings a song out loud, I ask them who sings that song. When they tell me, I say, "Then let them".

And most SNL skits-into-movies are horrible. Wayne's World is the only exception that comes to mind.

That episode of SNL with Jim Carrey was the best ever! I especially like when Jim Carrey did an impression of Jimmy Stewart doing an impression of Jim Carrey. Good stuff.

Another notable exception is "The Blues Brothers Movie" (the first one), which is both a great comedy and musical. Aside from that, I wholly agree. Anyone see "It's Pat" or "The Cone Heads"?

I saw both. They were ok movies. I'd say because of the character It's Pat would be better, but I would say in a cult status rather than a really good movie.

You know they are basically bad movies when you can't think of the other moview that they made form SNL skits. I could have sworn that there was at least one other good movie. Probably not.

Add The Ladies' Man, Stuart Saves His Family, and Superstar to the list of bad ones.

If we count Blues Bros as an SNL skit then we can add Blues Bros 2000 to the list of bad movies.

Although I've never seen any of Will Ferrell's movies, I've heard that they are very funny. Note, however, that he's staying away from the kiss-of-death formula.

Will Ferrell movies are indeed funny. However, The Anchorman isn't funny. In fact, the plot is horrible.

My wife and I thought the Coneheads movie was pretty good. (But then, my wife grew up in Geneva and speaks French, so she was able to understand all the Remulac jokes.)

My wife and I both thought Anchorman was great! But then, I remember the '70s quite well. I especially liked the part where the "sensitive and progressive" Public Broadcasting anchor told the competing female anchor how he was different from the other men and really supported women's lib and all that -- just before he pushed her down into the bear pit.

Yeah, I just saw The Anchorman this past weekend and thought it was great. I expected Will's movies to be horrible, but I must admit he can pull off kooky without being ridiculous (or maybe the right sort of ridiculous). Elf was funny and cute, too.
