hello all,
I am novice to EJB technology here i am going to ask you some basic qusestions
1. sessions beans are not persitant .
persitant term means result of the operations in session beans are not saved in database ???
2. It represents single client what does this mean?

3. please also tell me which technology is better than EJB or in competition with it.(is this RMI,COBRA or something else)?
4. It's framework or what??
In google i searched and i found "it is a specification" what does this mean??
5. SUN said it simplifies "development of middleware components " here middleware component referes to enterprise application or something else?
6. please also suggest me some link where i can get whole flow of EJB architectture which tells how all EJB components work together (local and home interfaces,JNDI).

firstly I want to go through the theoretical concept then i want to move on

Please guide me in this regard.

Thank you.

You should purchase a book, either online or from a bookstore, about EJB technology. It is not wise to only try to learn from forum responses to random questions. You need a comprehensive overview and a cohesive single voice narrative that only an author can provide in a book.

Visit Amazon.com and read a few reviews and purchase a book. You can then start to understand the technology and then start to post questions on Internet to find out different perspectives on the technology.

Good luck!
