Well, the error message is pretty clear, isn't it?

Caused by: java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: connect

There's no server listening at the address (host/port combo) you're trying to connect to. Either there's no server running at all, or it's listening on a different port than you expect, or there's a firewall blocking your access.

Going to move this to the appropriate forum; we can continue the discussion there.

well, I understand that the crux of the problem is that the connection is not able to establish. But the reason for it is some thing i was wondering like what would have gone wrong.
After some search i got an information that its an environment issue. As in i need to pass this following arguments.

[code]
./jre/bin/java -Xmx1024m -Xms64m -Djava.endorsed.dirs="/opt/abcd/iona/lib/art/omg/1.3"
-Dorg.omg.CORBA.ORBClass=com.iona.corba.art.artimpl.ORBImpl
-Dorg.omg.CORBA.ORBSingletonClass=com.iona.corba.art.artimpl.ORBSingleton -classpath jars Server.class
[code]

But my question is that i am writing an web client using struts. So where exactly am i suppose to pass these arguements

Thank you

If this is still causing you issues, or for future reference: it looks like the Exception is being thrown because you're not running TNameServer, hence the connection issue on the default port (900).
