I don't know much about the X-box. However, I have had a PS2 for several years and it is great. You can play PS one games, PS2 games, and DVD movies. The only drawback is that the PS2 won't play VCDs or SVCDs or non Region 1 DVDs.

A quick search on this forum will reveal that this thread has been covered before, with the pros and cons of the Xbox and PS2 compared.

To be honest though, both consoles are very cheap now. Why not have the best of both worlds and buy both?

PSP is, in my humble opinion, an overpriced piece of tat. Sure its got PS2 grade graphics, you can watch movies on it, but the battery life isnt all that great either, its about 4 hours.

I have a Gameboy Advance, and with its 8 hours of battery life, it lasts long enough for when I need it (usually on long haul flights).

Besides you can buy a PS2 and XBox, and still have change left to buy the wife some flowers to make up for your purchase, for the same price as a PSP.

anybody have the PS2 redesign (PsTwo)? I'm looking to buy this now...
also, any idea how much it would cost to convert this into using a wireless controller.

Stores sell wireless controllers for PS2. There is no conversion, of any type, necessary to use a wireless controller on a PS2.

The new design PS Two has the power supply separate from the main console. Anyone out there who owns this console know if its a dual voltage power supply?

Thanks,

Mark
