Hi I've built a pretty simple Entity which I want to persist to the MySQL 5.0.67.

I'm using hibernate, tomcat, mysql:


Persisting the Test entity gives me this exception stacktrace:

Wan,

Which version of Hibernate do you use? If its Hibernate 3.2.4 then please try upgrading to 3.2.4 SP1. Based on this hibernate forum thread looks like this was a bug with native id generation which got fixed in 3.2.4 SP1.

Hi Jaikiran,

Thanks for this great tip! This really solved the problem.
I was using hibernate 3.2.4.ga. I changed this to 3.2.5.
