We have an application which runs on kodo jdo, but due to some reasons it seems to be slow while performing high volume searches, is it possible to use Hibernate Search along with kodo to enhance the search speed, We use Kodo 2.1

Syam,

I looked into Kodo JDO several years back (about 5 I think) so Lord knows how it's changed since then. If it still uses byte code manipulation to accomplish its persistence then I seriously doubt it.

If you can use the JPA portion of Kodo by itself for persistence then yes, I believe you can use Hibernate Search. Hiberate Search's annotations would fit right in. It's just the byte code injection that worries me.
