Hi,
I have a web service written in java that works on tomcat and axis2. But it's http. I want it to work over https. How do I convert it to https quickly?

Thanks,
john

I'm not sure in which direction you want to go -the subject says the opposite of the body- but what keeps you from using one protocol vs. the other? Should be easy to accomplish.

hi,
if you read it all again you'll see that the title and the content are in synch. Now to my question. What do you mean just use it? I have no idea in those things. Can you explain?

Sorry. I should read more carefully at the end of the day :-(

On the client side, all that may be necessary may be to change the URL from "http://" to "https://".

On the server, if Tomcat isn't yet set up for HTTPS, here are the steps to follow.

What do you mean? If Tomcat is set up for HTTPS, then all web apps -like Axis- can use it. There's nothing else to set up.

John,
Can you share some idea how you got the web service and a client to work in tomcat application. I am stuck and would greatly appreciate your help

Do you already have a web app and you want to embed a web service in? or it's totally new app?
