Has anyone had any success adding documentation tags to an axis2 wsdl file? For example:
<wsdlperation name="login">
<wsdl:documentation>This comment does not appear in the generated Login.java as a javadoc comment</wsdl:documentation>
<wsdl:input>
<soap:body parts="parameters" use="literal" />
</wsdl:input>
...
</wsdlperation>
Even when I ran the tool from the command line it reported no error about the <wsdl:documentation> tags. The tags where simply ignored and the only comments that appear as javadoc comments are auto generated. Is there another type of document tag that someone has found success using for adding javadoc comments to the java source created by the WSDL2Java tool?

Leif,

The Java Web Services In a Nutshell by O'Reilly says in page #204 -

Any WSDL element can contain a single documentation element with arbitrary content that can be used to add descriptive text to it for the benefit of implementers of the service itself or of clients that will use the service. The use of elements is preferred over XML comments because XML parsers are not required to pass XML comments to application code.

You would expect it to be supported...

Regards,
Dan
