Every time I take a screen shot with Java, the mouse blinks, is it possible to take screen shots without the mouse blinking??

Thanks
Dev

Do you mean you want the mouse in the screenshot?
If you don't, then that is how the mouse is kept out of the shot, Java tells the OS not to draw the cursor before it starts the capture, then when it is finished capturing, it tells the OS that it can draw the cursor again. I'm not sure how to get the cursor in the screen shot other than to get an image of the cursor and the coordinates of it and draw it on the screenshot yourself.

That's my problem, every time java tells the OS to hide the mouse and then redraw it. The mouse blinks which is very annoying and it is crucial that it doesn't happen in my program

Is it possible to copy the Robot class that Sun provides except change the part where the class tells the OS to hide the mouse and run it as my own class?

I agree with Darryl Burke; you ought at least to point out to people on both fora that you are posting twice. Please read this FAQ.
