after a month or so's job search, things get serious. i just got an offer from GE Global Research center at Niskayuna, NY, a palce 165 miles from nyc, 185 miles from boston.

it is 1 year contract position, my current position is permanent.

what is your take on this, should i take the offer?

my primary goal for right now is to use up my newly purchased 20-entry swimming pass for a local pool. there are still ~15 left, i want to finish it up in 2 weeks, just in case i take the GE offer.
