hi guys. I can't figure out how to pack lines in my jtextpane a little closer. I tried

But that didn't do much. any ideas ? The lines are far apart (about as far as the height of the characters), making a lot of scrolling necessary for users viewing results of a large query.... Thanks in advance... Jay

When are you doing that? Messing with the input attributes won't affect any existing text, for instance.

Perhaps you can write up a small, runnable app exhibiting the problem that we could take a look at. All it would need is a JTextPane with some canned text standing in for the results of your large query.
