Hello Everybody,

I am trying to develop a window that has an internal frame. When the internal frame is visible, I want the user will not be able to close the main frame or window unless the internal frame is closed.
How can i do this???

Thank you all.

1) call setDefaultCloseOperation(JFrame.DO_NOTHING_ON_CLOSE).
2) add a WindowListener that will do the closing for you. Most important method to implement is windowClosing. You can override WindowAdapter so you only need to implement that one method.

Are you sure you want to use a JInternalFrame? The problem description looks like what you really want is a modal JDialog.
