Hi all,

I have a Java-Struts running on Jrun. The server (Jrun) hosts around eight application (at client side) and the server is crashing due to memory management issues.
Now each application owner has to come out with plan of approach to find what is the right approach for a solution to find which applicatio is the culprit.
Infact we have been asked to write lines of code to monitor memory usage in our application during each action, can you please give some pointers as to the best approach to the same, also if any of you have encountered the same problem and have a better solution than the one mentioned above.

Sorry for the big story

This sounds weird in the current era.
There are a lot many profiling tools(free/paid) available in the market that can be used. One such tool being jprofiler
