Not sure if this is the right forum, but I didn't see one that fit this topic.

I need to connect to a FTP server using java. From what I can tell, there are several libraries to do this with.

Does anyone have any experience with this? Can you give your thoughts on the libraries you've used, etc?

TIA.

I have used the library from Jakarta Commons. It works fine for what I need to do. It might work fine for what you need to do too.

I've used JvFTP in the past, and I think it is quite good as well.

Cool, thanks.

Right now I think I'll check out the Jakarta stuff first since I've had good experiences with all of their other stuff.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
