What do you have so far? Do you have a server where to put the files? What kind of client do you envision - web page, Java application, something else?

So the question is really how to transfer a file from the server running the servlet container -where it has been uploaded- to some other server? The answer to that depend son what kind of access the servlet container has to that other server. SMB? FTP? Some other way?

Access type i am not sure.

Actually My program is to upload a file and then split uploaded file into small files as per logic(mostly split in to more than 1000 files) and save them at shared path.

I have tried SMBFile and its behavour is unpredicatable sometimes its save 100 files on shared location and give error and sometimes its save 200 files and then gives error and so on...
and SMBfile is also very very slow as compare to File.
Can you please suggest me how can i upload a file at shared location with predictable behaviour

You didn't tell us what kind of errors you are getting, so it's hard to advise on that. Also, with networked drives slower performance than with a local drive is to be expected.
