In overriding the overriding method has to throw same exception(or)narrower exception(or)no exception.

how can we know which is narrower than other?

Is there any predefined order for exceptions?

Hi Ganesh

how can we know which is narrower than other

Go through the Java API for exceptions.
The oder means the hierarchical order in the parent-class hierarchi like,

java.lang.Throwable -> java.lang.Exception -> java.sql.SQLException

FileNotFoundException and EOFException are not in a subclass / superclass relationship (they are both subclasses of IOException), so neither FileNotFoundException is wider or narrower than EOFException nor the other way around.
