Well I am new to Java. So trying to learn the language bit by bit parallelly going thru SCJP book by K & B. But I am sure SCJP book is not for beginners. With what ever information that I have on threads and collections, I am not getting good picture of Threads and Collections concepts. Do any of you have good referrece material.

Thank you.

Hi Marthi,

Java Sun has some good tutorials:

Collections:
https://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/collections/index.html

Threads:
http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/essential/concurrency/index.html

There are tutorials for just about everything.

Hope this helps

Jennifer
