Hi,

I was just wondering the elements in the Deployment Descriptor should be in a particular order or not? For example the servlet elements should be defined first. Is there a DTD for it? Thanks in advance.

Cheers,

Servlets 2.4 use an XML Schema. The order of "outer tags" like servelts or servlet-mapping is not important. It may influence the way the container will use them though (like listener tags). You'll find the full XML Schema in the Servlets specification.
