Hi all,

I have an issue regading sharing a session object in clustered environment

There is a seriablizable object in session. I have 2 managed servers in clusted environment, if one server is taking request and responding, my application is working fine.
If request is taken by one server and responded by other server, then it's giving me a null object from session.

I also tried with <distributable/> tag in web.xml and <persistent-store-type> tag in weblogic.xml, still not working.
Is there anything i have to put in web.xml or weblogic.xml or in any other DD or anything else.

any suggestions/help is much appreciated.

Hi,

I would suggest you to try HttpSessionActivation listener and see if the serializable object gets notified when actually a session is deactivated and reactivate. And also you may have to do this by such trial and error process in order to understand what is actually going behind the scene.

hope that suggestion would be a little help

Best Regards,
Ranil
