I need to access a bunch of public static [CONSTANTS] in my JSP. Currently am using scriplets, Can i get away with it and try something else which is not java. I dont want to use JAVA in JSP.
Any ideas how can i accomplish this?

Custom tag would be too mch overhead , i guess.

Hi Christophe Verre ,
I read the article so i would need to create a MAP of constants , set on one of four available scopes and use them.
I was hoping a direct support from EL , which anyways is not there. I would leave those scriplets as is in the JSP.

I am trying to remove all the scriplets in my project.
