Whilst reading HFSJ I came across the term "template text", anyways finished reading the book and realized I still don't remember reading the definition to the term?!

Anyone know the definition, perhaps with a little example?

Thanks,
Justin

Template text is text which will be output literally in the response. So anything other than JSP syntax, EL, tags etc. I suppose the thought is that web developers can write the "(X)HTML template" which can then be populated with dynamic content afterwards.
