Hello ranchers!!!
As per the DTD, <security-role-ref> comes under the <servlet> element. So, do we need to put <security-role> element before the <servlet> element.
please confirm, if any restrictions are there with these elements...

As per the DTD


You're probably looking at Servlets 2.3's DTD. Servlets 2.4 uses an Xml Schema instead. The order of elements does not matter, so security-role tags can be put before or after the servlet tags.
 
Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
