If you just did look at the first page, you can see 3 threads repeating same question. Why you wast your time by waiting for others reply? On other hand its kind of wast others time as well.

I'd say go for the EJB 3.0 in Action and then you can get into O'Reilly's book.

Not sure this would work, but it sounds like a "resource" section that people can vote on would solve this problem of repetition. Otherwise, I find that simply pointing people to a recent thread without further comment works fine too...
