Hi everyone,
I did my SCWCD exam last week.
Am I eligible to do SCBCD and SCMAD?
What should I do first?

Thank You!

Hi Lakmal,

I recommend you the SCBCD, I am in a similar situation. The web developer exam prepares you for the client-presentation (the front end) layer and the business developer exam prepares you for the back end part.

Regards,
M

It depends.
If you're a web application developer go for SCBCD, if you're a J2ME developer go for SCMAD.

As Kengkaj said, it depends.

However, if you in this moment don't have any project fr particular technology, I would recommend to take SCBCD.

Reasons:
1. Mobile Java market is very weak (IMHO). Least popular forum at JavaRanch certification section.
2. SCBCD 5 includes JPA. So, it will help you to work with Hibernate framework later.

regards,
MZ

Hi Lakmal, Seems like you are from Sri Lanka. So considering about the Sri Lankan IT industry better to go for SCBCD.

You showed up just in time for the waffles! And this tiny ad:
