Timer methods in stateful session beans

According to table 1 in core spec 4.4.1, a business method of a stateful session bean can invoke Timer methods. But in 18.2 it is said that "Timers cannot be created for stateful session beans".

So how is it possible to call Timer methods in a stateful session bean ?

Hi Ralph,

I think spec 4.4.1 is not correct. timer is not availabel in stateful
