Hi,
I am thinking to avoid displaying any DAO and Entity beans in class diagram and follow the Mark Cade's book approach. Any comments? Did anybody submitted the assignment without displaying DAO's and entity beans in class diagram?

My second question is regarding the Swing client for travel agents. What are the pros and cons of directly hitting the EJB SLSB from swing application? Any suggested reads about it? Any suggestions about the patterens we can use to connect from Swing clients to SLSBs?

I am planning to submit my assignment in next few days. I appreciate any comments on this approach.

regards,
Jalal

I did not displayed Entity Beans or DAO's in my class diagram and got 39/44 for it.
Search through this forum - general advice is to keep class diagram technology independent to display entities and relationships between them.

Some patterns You might find useful: Business Delegate, Service Locator, Session Facade...

Just keep Your design clean and document all assumptions and You'll be fine.
