All,

I wanted to know if someone managed to give Zachman Architecture exam? It seems one needs to take there courses before giving exam. Not sure if we can just buy book and give exam.

Anyone who can throw light on how to approach of getting this certification it would be REALLY helpful!

What kind of a certification program is it? Who offers it? Can you please let us know?

SCJP 1.4, SCWCD 1.4 - Hints for you, Certified Scrum Master
Did a rm -R / to find out that I lost my entire Linux installation!

It's a certification offered by John Zachman through zachman international on Zachman EA framework.

Our FAQ posted by Siva has all the details (thanks Siva).

But to clarify, in order to be Zachman Certified, we are requiring Architects to take the courses. It is possible for one to take the test through the ICCP without taking the courses, however that person will not be designated "Zachman Certified" unless they take the courses through Zachman International. It is the only way that we can control what people actually know and how much they truly understand.

Incidentally, there are a lot of people who think they understand the Zachman Framework, but after taking the courses, they come away with a whole new perspective and realize it is far deeper then they ever understood.

I had the privillege of attending your father's 1-day session in Bangalore, India. Do you guys have any plans to offer the certification courses(the Z series) in a similar manner in India?

Yes, we are working on Zachman Certified dates in India right now. We just have to get a few more details squared away.

what is the diferecne between between this certification and SCEA?

BEA 8.1 Certified Administrator, IBM Certified Solution Developer For XML 1.1 and Related Technologies, SCJP, SCWCD, SCBCD, SCDJWS, SCJD, SCEA,
Oracle Certified Master Java EE 5 Enterprise Architect

The scope of SCEA is narrow as it based on Java technologies. Zachman is a generic framework and has a wider application
