Hi All,
I am looking for changing domains from development to Project Management or QA and came across certifications from Quality Assurance Institute(QAI). They offer various certs. like Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA),Certified Software Project Manager (CSPM) etc.
Are these useful? I have 6 years development experience in J2EE (Struts,EJB,etc). So combined with the dev. experience would these certifications help for me to make the change.I am located in USA.
Thanks.

Hey what is the reason you suppose to change your TRACK to dev to QA or PM since you are having more experience I think It's not difficult to do this exams, only you need to get some concepts about that domain .
I guess QA guys can change their track easily QA ---> PM coz they handling customer requirement directly.

For PM, I recommend PMP. Take a look at www.pmi.org.
