Hi rancher,

I have been studying for 2,3 months (only the last month very seriously)
and I just cleared this morning my scjp with 91% 66/72.

I have to say that for the last two weeks I have been watching this topic
with all the success stories, and my only wish was to post mine as well.

Thanks to all ranchers, I could find a lot of good advice on this forum
and thanks to K&B the book is really excellent. Even if the exam is finished now with all my notes the book will serve as reference in the future for me.

For the exam I have to say it was a lot easier than the mock exams of K&B.
But still I managed to screw up the concurrence part with 50%. (is there an interrupt() method in Thread class ?)
I have had a lot of drag and drop questions about File,Bufferedreader, concurrence, collection, generics.
The number of correct answer was always explicitly written. And if you choose for example only 2 responses and 3 were needed, they are nice enough to notify you before you submit the exam. Very helpful.

I think I will go for the SCWCD now, I have already the book by david bridgewater I hope it is as good as K&B for SCJP.

Good luck to those who to take this exam as well.

What do you think about
Which mock exam is similar to the real exam ?

You can also buy the book Head First JSP/Servlet for SCWCD!
Two of its authors are K&B it is really popular....

nice work...

keep on, I would take my exam in next month. thank you
