Hi,

Today, I cleared the SCBCD 5.0 Upgrade exam scoring 88%. The examination questions were tougher and different than the ones i had faced in practice exams. Not sure if it was because i selected the 'Expert Level' option in the survey conducted before the actual test, for all questions. I had this eerie feeling till i saw the printed score report...

My performance on the other mock exams is given below, to give you an idea of how it compares with the real exam and also to judge your own degree of readiness:

Whizlabs Diagnostic: 36/61
Whizlabs Practice 1: 59/61
Whizlabs Practice 2: 57/61
Whizlabs Practice 3: 56/61
Whizlabs Final: (Errored Out!)
Sun Assessment Test: 21/30
SCBCD 5 Upgrade Certification: 44/50

On my way to SCEA 5 PI now... Thanks everybody for all helpful posts!

Sidenote: I recommend this upgrade for all J2EE developers, who are certified on EJB earlier and/or still working on architecting(!), designing or developing EJB/Spring based applications. I can easily say that my relevant knowledge has increased (and certified! :cool) by atleast 10x. I did have experience on EJB v2 and EJB v3 and working knowledge of Spring/Hibernate before i started preparing for this certification.

No, questions do not vary according to the survey. Everybody would select 'Novice'
