Hi,

I'd like to know if this book is intended to make a high coupling between JEE and NetBeans IDE. If I want to change my IDE to Eclipse, afterwards, can I do that, easily?

Thank you.

Good questions. NetBeans uses ANT as its default build tool, which is to say, for every NetBeans project, and ANT build file is automatically generated.

All leading IDE's can import ANT projects, therefore you should be able to import your NetBeans projects into other IDE's. Additionally, NetBeans projects can be built using ANT from the command line.
