Hi All,

I am puzzed as to why it was possible to run an Application Client (Main.java) by selecting right click and run the enterprise application project (e.g. EnterpriseAppEE5) according to the tutorial (http://testwww.netbeans.org/kb/articles/appclient-entappclient.html) which uses NB6 & Glass Fish v2 without a glitch. On the other hand, the following error occurred when using JBoss 4.2.2 and NB 6.0:

java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: ${main/class}

Please let me know if there is a different way to run an application client in NB6, JBoss AS 4.2.2.

Btw, I noticed that there are very few, if any documentations/tutorials on Netbeans and JBoss in the last 12 months. Likewise, the support for these forums, JBoss (http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bbin) in general are poor from my experience since I have not had any response back in the past. As a result, has there been any change in business strategy between Sun (Netbeans) and Redhat (JBoss)? In other word, should those chooses to use JBoss should try another IDE instead? Am I missing something here?

I would like to use MySQL but not sure whether it can be integrated with Glass Fish or not?

Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Jack

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
