Hi,

I am creating a war file using ant and deploying on tomcat, but it is not running on it.

please suggest something

after I deployed on tomcat.. I am noticing one major issue.. WEB-INF folder is also getting created outside WebContent folder also.

Thanks,
Neeraj.

What does "not running" mean? Web apps don't run, they respond to HTTP requests. What happens if you access it?

What is app.home set to? Is it set to your project's directory? How does the project's directory relate to the Tomcat home directory?

I appears that this build script does not copy the resulting WAR to the tomcat_home/webapps directory. You should add a "deploy" target to do the copying. Or are you copying the war file by hand?

WEB-INF folder is also getting created outside WebContent folder also

Please provide the full paths for every occurrence of the WEB-INF directory.
