Use Ant to Compare file and directories

Hello,
This is just a general question. I'm new to ant.
Any idea I use ant to compare too installs??
for example, tell user the file size and directory difference.

Ant does not come with any comparison tasks (at least I have not found any). It would be better to use operating system utilities to do what you want. Something like one of the diff variants on Linux or windiff on Windows.

And if you _really_ want to control that from ANT, you can get ANT to make one of its runtime exec calls, e.g. Call the operating system diff utility from ANT.
