There is no built-in support for exporting to Excel.

It's easy to create a CSV response by using, for example, the FreeMarker result, which also allows setting of the content type in the result configuration. You could also do the same thing in a JSP result by using a scriptlet to set the content type.

You could also use any of several MS-Office libraries to create an actual Excel file (like Poi for example).
