I'm trying to understand the bugzooky example app, and specifically the login model as in the LoginActionBean

I'm just not getting it, even looking at the java and jsp sources. I'm not seeing how all this is glued together.

Is there are walkthrough or specific documentation on how the bugzooky works at a high level?

thanks
pat

Hi Pat,
I'd recommend skipping the BugZooky example. It's several years old and doesn't represent best practices now.

Have you gone through the calculator example? It's much more straightforward.

You'll get responses much faster on the Stripes mailing list or the IRC channel.

Yes, I went through calculator. But it lacks some things such as more than one page. And bugzooky has a nice login filter, which I really need.

So for me, an ideal example would have a login filter and then at least three other .jsp pages.

There aren't a lot of good examples for Stripes on the web right now. You could grab the source code from freddy's book and take a look at that. He's got a lot of good examples in there.

For authentication handling I'd recommend using the SecurityInterceptor in StripesStuff. http://www.stripesframework.org/display/stripes/Security+Interceptor+for+custom+authorization
