Hi,

How to trigger a job which will fire on every five month basis indefinitely from 15-Mar-2008 2pm?

Given that August 15, 2008 has passed already, are you asking how to build a time machine? :-)

Check out the java.util.Timer and TimerTask classes. They allow you to schedule tasks for execution at fixed points in time.

Since this is the Open Source Projects forum, I'll also suggest Quartz (just google Quartz and you'll find it) which is an excellent scheduling library.
