How to get nodeid in Java application in a clustered environment?

Is it possible to identify the node or any property that makes the node unique (on the cluster) from Java Application running on a clustered environment.

I've moved it to the Websphere forum as I suspect (not 100%) that the answer will involve some Webspehere specifics. The Mod for this forum will shift it back if I'm dead wrong

Yes, you can do it using JMX Framework. Please take a look at the following url in the infocenter.
