Hi,

I have installed websphere 6.0 on HP-UX platform. When I give java -version under /ibm/websphere/appserver/java/bin, I got the following output:

$java -version
java version "1.5.0.08-_04_may_2007"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (IBM build 1.5.0.08-_04_may_200
7-06_31 20070608 (SR5+IY99712) )
Java HotSpot(TM) Server VM (build 1.5.0.07 jinteg:03.20.07-04:39 PA2.0 (aCC_AP),
mixed mode)
IBM Java ORB build orb50-20070501 (SR5)
XML build XSLT4J Java 2.7.7
XML build IBM JAXP 1.3.7
XML build XML4J 4.4.9

---
HotSpot gives me the clue that it is pure SUN JRE. But the IBM Java build confuses me.

Anyone can tell me whether the above is Sun JRE or IBM jre?

Thanks,
Guru

Looks like a collaboration of some kind.
