Running Tomcat on port 8080

Hi,

I had Installed tomcat on port 8080 but it was not starting. But when I installed it on port 9090 it is running smoothly.

I wish to reinstall it on port 8080, kingdly help me

Hi,
You can just check what all processes are running on different ports. If there is nothing which is running on the 8080 and other ports which are used by tomcat. Then just edit server.xml file to change the port number from 9090 to 8080.
