You�ll be the quarterback � you�ll drive projects to completion.
You�ll identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks.
You�ll direct and coordinate activities of development resources to ensure project progresses on schedule and within budget.
You�ll oversee the troubleshooters, firefighters, and code busters
You�ll monitor project results against technical specifications. You�ll move deliverable from test environment into production.
You�ll be MacGyver
You�ll conceptualize and create standard interfaces between new and existing systems to work together to provide enhanced functionality.
You�ll utilize technical skills to build new software and systems based newer or advanced technologies
You�ll be the visionary
You�ll be the lead architect in defining program and system requirements based on business information received from management and the user community.
You�ll analyze requirements and design software applications and systems.
You�ll be the coach and confidante
You�ll oversee technical/application design reviews of junior and peer IT staff.
You�ll mentor junior IT staff in the areas of software development techniques and methodology.
You�ll develop software development and technology standards and policies.

A bachelor�s degree from an accredited university.
Technical certifications.
8-10 years of progressively challenging projects and roles within a software development environment.
Your communication skills must be exceptional. When others describe you, they�ll call you �polished� and �articulate�.
Your project management skills should be strong, not because you read a book, but because you have a track record of delivering projects on time and at budget.
You must embrace challenges, be goal-oriented, and have a propensity for leadership.
