Hi friends,

after having just successfully finished my academic studies in computer science I am looking for a good job as a Java developer in Germany, so I didn't want to miss the chance to ask here on the ranch for advices. I guess most of you don't live in Germany but I know there are some who do

As I said I'm searching for a (at the moment technical) job as a software developer for Java (preferred something with J2EE) but unfortunately I don't just want to find ANY job but rather a really GOOD job. For me "good" means a job which is challenging me regularly with unfamiliar and tricky tasks to solve and of course which isn't paid too bad. Moreover it should be fun to work in that company with the colleagues I'd find there.

I'd be glad to here any advices where to look for such a job or perhaps someone on the ranch even knows of a company with an attractive job offering of the kind I described above!

Thanks in advance!

Where are you based, and/or where are you willing to move to?

Since Java and JEE are very broad areas, do you have any specialty experiences (from a technical as well as a business perspective), or particular fields you'd like to go into?

Feel free to contact me privately about this.
It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
