Dear Friends,
I am posting on this forum for the first time. basically sharing the situation I have and requesting your valuable suggestions.
I am an experienced individual (~8.5 yrs) and have worked with leading players in India such as Infosys and Cognizant. However I have left my job a month back to honor some personal commitments. Now I have solved my issues on the personal front and am looking out for a job. I am aware that searching a job these days is not that easy and will take some time. I am confident of my competencies and am confident of clearing any interviews as well. However, am just wondering whether a gap in my professional career (which is 1 month currently and is increasing day by day) will be a hurdle for me to get a good job? Do companies normally filter out cases which show similar gaps? Am I heading towards a disaster?
If anybody has faced such a situation already, could you please share your experiences?
Your words will be of enormous help and support to me. I badly need a job now to take care of my family.
Thanks in advance.
Aby
