I have 8 Years of experience, working in US, Of late i realized that my first employer who sponsored my H1B visa screwed my educational evaluation even though i had a master's degree it was evaluated to Bachelor's degree [As part of H1B program Foreign degrees are evaluated against US degrees]when i checked with some of those who had same degree as mine(Masters degree from Indian University) their degree was evaluated to a masters degree in US.
I was thinking if i should get this educational evaluation redone? would it make any difference ? I know degree's have a little role than getting work done but i still wanted to check if there were any labour laws to advantage

I'm not sure what this evaluation is used for, but I'd say that the important thing is that you have the knowledge that the MS conferred. The degree is in your CV if you apply somewhere, so what is it that you're really missing out on?

How often is this HB1 documentation updated?

An extension is required after the first 3 years. That might be a good time to make the necessary adjustments. I would suggest you to contact your current employer's consulting firm.
