Dear all,
I'm now a software engineer & I'm from India currently staying in Bangalore.
My vision in the longer-time horizon is to become an successful entrepreneur in the discipline of Starting & running Training Institutes like NIIT & in rental real-estate entrepreneurship.

I understand that to become & remain successful in these fields I should have strong accounting,Investing, finance, marketing, selling, knowledge & experience.
In pursuing this ambition , I feel an degree in MBA could make my position stronger in terms of getting knowledge & experience.

With my financial position & dependents , I feel I can do a part-time dual course in MBA in Marketing & finance.

What are your views on this?

Regards.

Note: I heard that Bharathidasan Institute of Management(BIM) has a part-time MBA course in marketing & finance.

Hi Ramya,

If you really desire to sharpen your skill in Finance and Marketing, part-time MBA will not suffice. As far as I know , part time MBA is just a tag , you will hardly learn from the such courses. to acquire the skill go through some good materials and business magazines on this area.

Once you get the knowledge ,you can go far this part time courses to get tagged as MBA professional.

Couldn't agree more Umesh. Passion and being street smart is the way to go. You need to do something different. Once you have a good idea and of cousre capital, you can virtually buy any professionals.
