Though not heard bad thing about this particular company, but is it a right time ?

Do you mean the classic Detroit Big 3? All three of them are within weeks of being bankrupt. the US Congress is dithering over a bailout right now, have been for weeks.

I'd rather go work for a Wall Street bank or big insurance company, and they are all but bankrupt.

Having worked in Detroit and having been closely associated with the auto industry, you are better advised to stay off any US firms where your work is closely related to the US market. The three companies and their related suppliers and vendors are contracting in a big way and it is difficult to know what's going on. If the work is related to the domestic market(Indian), then the situation could be different and you may want to consult local experts on the auto industry.

The problem is, all India base US captive center like Lehman B and some others are not aware that what�s happening at there US office, they keep hiring people in India office and then one fine day they fired, that� why I am asking the condition so that take decision.

You have access to all the information we have via the internet. I don't think many folks on JavaRanch are going to be on the boards of agricultural manufacturers making decisions about offshoring and divulging that information on a public forum.
The US economy is in recession and will be for the next year or so. Chances are, it is a bad time to join a US firm.
